While the internet is home to many disturbing instances, Grace sparked outrage across the net after uploading her controversial video, where she claimed that her two-year-old toddler destroyed her new Jeffree Star \u2018Alien\u2019 makeup palette. In the video, Grace revealed that she\u2019d told her child multiple times not to play with her makeup, and even alleged that her hand \u201churt\u201d from \u201cbeating\u201d her child severely. Video begins at 1:47) https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=EmG5vRkpdaI \u201cShe has ruined two palettes of mine,\u201d Grace said as her toddler openly cried in the background. \u201cAnd one of them is being discontinued. \u2026my hand hurts, because I just beat the crap out of her.\u201d Needless to say, the video was not well-received by the masses, with even top YouTuber Philip DeFranco calling out the mother over her treatment of her child and dubbing the situation \u201cheartbreaking and infuriating.\u201d \u201cI don\u2019t believe in spanking or \u2018popping\u2019 your children in general, BUT even for those that do believe that, WHO DOES IT TO A F**KING 2 YEAR OLD?!?!\u201d he wrote. \u201cAND OVER A F**KING PALETTE?!\u201d So @michellegraceh I don\u2019t believe in spanking or \u201cpopping\u201d your children in general BUT even for those that do believe that, WHO DOES IT TO A FUCKING 2 YEAR OLD?!?! Heartbreaking and infuriating\u2026 \u2014 Philip DeFranco \ud83d\udc4a\ud83c\udffb (@PhillyD) February 27, 2020 Public sentiment was largely the same, with many users echoing his disgust over the matter, causing Grace to explain the issue in a series of Instagram stories and Tweets after the video went viral. \u201cShe\u2019s a lot smarter than you guys think,\u201d she tweeted of her daughter. \u201cShe\u2019s the most intelligent toddler I know. She knows right from wrong. So yes, she knew what she was doing.\u201d The YouTuber also claimed that she should not have \u201cposted the video,\u201d arguing that the destroyed makeup wasn\u2019t the reason for her child\u2019s punishment, but that she \u201cdoesn\u2019t listen\u201d to instructions.
