The star\u2019s refreshing honesty and hilarious soundbites have earned her some high-profile collaborations over the years. While they still haven\u2019t officially worked together on a YouTube video, Patricia went live with Jackie Aina on Instagram back in April. The beauty guru also released a line with Revolution Cosmetics in 2020. Patricia has mostly stayed out of high-profile drama during her run on the platform. However, she has butted heads in the past with fellow makeup YouTuber Jordan Lipscombe. Why is Patricia under fire? The YouTuber posted a series of videos to her Instagram story on July 23. She claimed in the videos that she got \u201cscammed by someone asking for money.\u201d Patricia went on to explain that she offered to buy a homeless woman food in lieu of giving her money. She then took the woman to a \u201cbougie food hall\u201d where the woman picked out \u201ca rotisserie chicken\u201d and a \u201cwhole large lasagna.\u201d She remarked that the woman knew \u201cwhere the till\u201d was and processed the \u201ctransactions\u201d herself. She claimed that the woman was \u201cnot actually in need of the items,\u201d and she was \u201claughing\u201d at \u201crecognizing I was a willing mark.\u201d She stated that her bank\u2019s \u201cfraud department\u201d told her to \u201ccancel her card\u201d the morning after the incident. Closing the statement, she said she \u201cwon\u2019t stop giving\u2026 to those in need\u201d and signposted her followers to a homeless charity. In a later video, she clarified that she\u2019d \u201cnever laugh at someone for being hungry.\u201d She then re-told the story, alleging that the \u201chomeless\u201d woman \u201ctried to guide her\u201d to another store\u2019s ATM.
