Although the global crisis is affecting all types of industry, many game developers have been able to transition to working from home successfully, keeping their plans on track. For Tarkov, lead developer Nikita has revealed that the next update, 12.4.2 will contain several major freezes and stuttering fixes. After this small update, 12.5 will roll out, which will include many more significant changes. Nikita confirmed that the team is \u201calmost fully operational from our homes\u201d so we\u2019re not expecting too much of a delay for these updates. Although we don\u2019t have specifics yet about some of the bug fixes, Nikita confirms that a \u2018quick healing feature\u2019 will be added for the end of a raid. Escape from Tarkov update 12.5 patch notes Quick healing feature (at the end of the raid) &#8211; Post-effects settings (sharpness. color grading setting etc.) &#8211; Some optics rendering optimizations &#8211; Various bug fixes &#8211; QoL improvements, such as the dependence of mouse sensitivity on the magnification of optics &#8211; The mouse sensitivity fix will come as great news for players who have been getting frustrated by the effect of sight magnification. It remains to be seen how exactly this change will be implemented though. Fixes for stuttering and freezes is also exactly what players have been waiting to hear, showing complaints about Tarkov\u2019s general performance haven\u2019t been ignored. Beyond update 12.5, Battlestate explain that \u201cfurther development of the project is divided into patches \u2013 12.6, 12.7, etc.\u201d Nikita also revealed that patch 12.6 will include some new content. Concluding their post, Battlestate reaffirmed that \u201cgame stability and anticheat measures is \u21161 priority for us.\u201d They also revealed that \u201ca lot\u201d of cheaters had been banned recently, and that they would continue to take a hard stance on the issue.
