Here’s everything you need to know about what’s going down. Each year, prior to the new FIFA game being released, it is Ultimate Team that builds the most hype. Fans are always eager to see if EA have got any new features up their sleeve and what new cards they’ll be able to buy. It’s the same story with FIFA 21. The devs have already revealed two new ICONs in the form of Eric Cantona and Petr Cech, as well as a new co-op mode for FUT, but they’ve got more to come. Here’s what you need to know about the upcoming reveal. How to watch FIFA 21 Ultimate Team trailer EA are going to reveal more news about FIFA 21’s Ultimate Team mode on Monday, August 10 at 4 pm BST/5 pm CEST/11 am EDT/8 am PDT. The FIFA devs have held interactive streams on Twitch in years gone by, but this year things are going down on YouTube. There’s already a countdown up for the trailer so if you really want to sit and wait for the clock to hit 4 pm, you can. Just like the first gameplay trailer that we got to see on August 4, we’re sure to see players going on mazy runs before firing home past completely beaten goalkeepers. Stream Confirmed FIFA 21 ICONs – Cantona, Cech, and Xavi Speaking of goalkeepers, we should also see more from ICONs joining Chelsea legend Petr Cech. EA SPORTS confirmed that FIFA 21 will have 100 different legends with their own cards, and a further nine are still unknown. There have been plenty of rumors of who might be joining the party, and all things point to a few modern-day legends getting cards. Xavi was confirmed as the third new legend on August 8. The World Cup winner becomes the latest Barcelona player to be given an ICON card alongside the likes of former teammates Ronaldinho and Carles Puyol. Rumored ICONs could be revealed The list of ICONs for FIFA 21 is 100 names long, and the list of rumored stars that could feature might be even longer. Samuel Eto’o and Maicon are among them, having both been rumored as new ICON additions. Eto’o is best known for his time at Barcelona, but these greats of the game both played for Inter Milan back in the day, with the latter enjoying a run as the best fullback in the world at one point. Each of them have already featured in a FIFA 21 trailer, of course. Inter Milan’s exclusive club partner video gave significant segments to both of them, seen below. Now might be the time for their reveal. Not to be outdone, Inter Milan have also signed on as a partner club! #FIFA21 Should mean more face scans for both 💪 pic.twitter.com/v49rYcHIfr — Dexerto Sports (@DexertoFC) August 3, 2020 FIFA 21 Ultimate Team new ICON clues leaked On top of the rumors mentioned earlier, there’s also talk among the community about the nationality of three other ICONs. The entire list of 100 are likely to be confirmed during the FUT 21 reveal stream, although one leaker by the name of DiscoveryFUT (on Instagram) appears to have the inside scoop. They claim the next few to be announced will consist of one Englishman and the other two will be German. Identities, though, have not been mentioned just yet. If you are following DiscoveryFUT on Insta, you‘ve seen this clue in advance 👀 But there’s still time to follow them for upcoming hints 🔥 🇩🇪 … 🇩🇪 …#FIFA21DiscoveryFUT >> https://t.co/uoTB1WEnVs pic.twitter.com/JOMo4Bf0Bt — WEAREUTITA (@weareutita) August 9, 2020 FUT Champs changes leaked for FIFA 21 As for everything else, prior FIFA 21 leaks suggested that big changes are in store for both FUT Champs and Division Rivals – with the former expanding it’s Top 100 rankings to a Top 200. In the case of Division Rivals, leaks have claimed that players will have 40 games to build up their weekly ranking. After those 40 games are up, players will be able to play more but won’t boost their rank any further or earn better rewards. We’ll just have to wait and see if those leaks are confirmed by EA during the FUT 21 reveal.
