The Moogle have returned with their Treasure Trove event in Final Fantasy XIV once more. Like in previous years, players can collect Irregular Tomestones by completing activities and trading them in for various goodies like Orchestrion Rolls, Mounts, and more. The return of the Treasure Trove is slightly different this year, however, with the devs introducing some changes to help alleviate players’ pain of running the Praetorium over and over again. Luckily we’ve got all the changes covered for you right here. FFXIV First Hunt for Genesis Moogle Treasure Trove date The Moogle Treasure Trove: First Hunt for Genesis will run from Tuesday 30th of January all the way until Monday 11th of March. This gives players just over a month to complete and clear out any activities they want in order to gain all the goodies available on offer. FFXIV First Hunt for Genesis Moogle Treasure Trove rewards Of course, all of this activity completion would be for naught if the Moogles weren’t offering some sick rewards. From mounts to minions, hairstyles to horns, Orchestrion Rolls to housing items, there’s plenty on offer from the Moogles. Here’s a list of every item available and their cost: FFXIV First Hunt for Genesis Moogle Treasure Trove activities This Treasure Trove event introduces different objectives and challenges that will reward players with more Irregular Tomestones. This means no more spamming the Nier Alliance Raids or Praetorium for their sweet rewards. Weekly Objectives While it’s definitely still an option, Weekly Objectives and Minimog Challenges will offer Irregular Tomestones when completing the relevant weekly objectives. It’s likely these will task the player with some tasks to complete throughout the week, granting bonus Tomestones if they manage to complete them. Minimog Challenges Minimog Challenges offers players different options when it comes to farming for Tomestones. Available once per week, players can partake in Hunts, Fishing, Triple Triad, Treasure Maps, and more in order to grab their Irregular Tomestones. This offers a fair amount of gameplay variety, which should hopefully prevent players from burning out while on the grind. Ultimog Challenges Last but not least we have Ultimog Challenges, these can only be completed once per event period. However, according to the event website, they’ll offer a “sizable tomestome reward” for those who are able to complete it. What this means is anyone’s guess, could the devs want the players to complete one of the fabled ultimates or something more? We’ll just have to wait and find out.

FFXIV First Hunt for Genesis Moogle Treasure Trove: Dates, rewards, activities, more Square EnixFinal Fantasy XIV is bringing back the Moogle Treasure Trove event for the first time in 2024, here’s the dates, rewards, activities, and more.
