So, here’s exactly how to Pressure and Stagger enemies in the game. Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth has finally arrived and the second installment in the Final Fantasy 7 Remake trilogy gives fans a huge open world to explore, a cast of iconic characters to play as and meet, and a deep combat system to dive into. From each party member’s unique skills to new Synergy abilities, and all-powerful Summons there’s a lot you’ll need to get to grips with during combat in Rebirth, and one of the most fundamental aspects of this is knowing how to Pressure and Stagger your foes. So, here’s exactly how you can Pressure and Stagger enemies in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth. How to Pressure enemies in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth You can Pressure enemies by exploiting their weaknesses in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth. Every enemy you encounter will have a unique weakness however so the process is different for most encounters. The easiest approach to pressuring foes in the game is by using the Assess Materia at the beginning of battle which will give you a rundown of enemy weaknesses that you can take advantage of to Pressure them. A pressured enemy will also be much easier to Stagger in the game. How to Stagger enemies To Stagger people or creatures in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, you’ll need to fill up the game’s stagger meter, which happens whenever you use an attack or ability that an enemy is weak against. When an enemy is staggered, they’ll take much more damage and will also be unable to attack for a short period of time. The Stagger window gives you a prime opportunity to end the battle quickly by using your most powerful abilities to maximize damage. While regular foes can typically be defeated after they’ve been Staggered, for stronger enemies including bosses you’ll likely need to repeat the process multiple times throughout the battle.
