She was taken aback when she saw that consumers should throw away their cheese just three to five days after opening. Shredded cheese, sliced cheese, doesn\u2019t matter the brand, it says\u2026 \u2018Use within three to five days of opening.\u2019\u201d She continued: \u201cWhen my husband and I discovered this I think it was like a couple of weeks ago at this point, I think we just stood in the kitchen in silence and stared at each other\u2026 What do you mean three to five days?\u201d TikTokers disgusted by shocking sliced cheese discovery After the video was posted on the platform, people couldn\u2019t wait to weigh in and share their thoughts. Many were shocked to discover the short consumer date at the back of the packet. \u201cI did not need to know this bestie,\u201d one said, followed by a crying emoji. \u201cSome things are just best left unsaid,\u201d another wrote, clearly unhappy about Maddie\u2019s discovery. \u201cI definitely noticed that our shredded cheeses doesn\u2019t last after opening. The smell changes completely. I didn\u2019t know about the 3-5 rule, but it makes sense,\u201d one stated. Some, however, refused to be swayed by the discovery, writing that they\u2019d continue to eat their cheese the same way they always had. \u201cBabe, I want to be honest.
