Taco Bell seeing major success Gibbs commented on Taco Bell\u2019s success, saying: \u201cI think that speaks to the strength of Taco Bell in this environment. It is a value leader in so many ways. \u201cCertainly, for Taco Bell,\u2026it looks like we\u2019re doing a great job of holding on to (customers).\u201d McDonald\u2019s, on the other hand, have introduced a 10% price increase over the past few years. The chain confirmed on its own earnings call that fewer lower-income customers are visiting the chain. McDonald\u2019s CEO Chris Kempczinski also added that when lower-income customers do visit the chain, they order the less expensive menu items.
