Bishop went back to the Subway location and brought up the discrepancy with staff, who told her to contact corporate. Bishop claims that \u201cthere\u2019s no phone number that leads to a live person\u201d and has been struggling to get a refund ever since the charge went through. She\u2019s also alerted her bank to the massive charge \u2014 but they haven\u2019t offered any help, either. \u201cI\u2019m just trying to make ends meet at this point,\u201d Bishop said in a statement to ABC 6. \u201cI couldn\u2019t get groceries at one point because my account was negative.\u201d That\u2019s not all; Bishop also went back to the store again to get more answers, but found the location had closed. Its online listing also shows that it is temporarily closed. Experts say that Bishop could look into legal action against the shop, with the Better Business Bureau\u2019s Lee Anne Lanigan claiming the charge may be considered theft. \u201cShe could take that to her bank and say, \u2018Here\u2019s my receipt, and here\u2019s where you gave them a thousand dollars. If you can\u2019t make this right for me, I\u2019m willing to file a fraud affidavit,’\u201d Lanigan said per ABC 6.
