We said these menuboards would give us more flexibility to change the display of featured items,\u201d they said. \u201cWendy\u2019s will not implement surge pricing, which is the practice of raising prices when demand is highest. We didn\u2019t use that phrase, nor do we plan to implement that practice.\u201d Wendy\u2019s had previously declined to comment on whether or not the price of food would increase during peak lunch and dinner hours. \u201cDynamic pricing can allow Wendy\u2019s to be competitive and flexible with pricing, motivate customers to visit and provide them with the food they love at a great value,\u201d the chain said in a statement earlier this week.
