Tried and tested, it\u2019s something that the brand gets right every single time. It\u2019s not often that the fast food chain branches out, and releases experimental items on their menu, but that\u2019s just what they\u2019ve decided to do this December. Wendy\u2019s announced that they\u2019ll be bringing out \u2018Saucy Nuggets,\u2019 but they are only being tested in select locations in Ohio. These nuggets are sauced like chicken wings by placing them in a container, then shaking them up to get a nice coating. You can choose from four different sauces: Honey BBQ, Buffalo, Ghost Pepper, and Garlic Parmesan. People dying to try Wendy\u2019s new Saucy Nuggets After the announcement was posted on social media, people were quick to comment on the brand\u2019s new release. Many were excited that Saucy Nuggets might be a thing, with one saying: \u201cThey had something similar to this like over a decade ago and it was dope.\u201d \u201cThey literally used to this \u2014 called them bites? Boneless wings, maybe? \u2014 and I still miss the Sweet & Spicy Asian Chicken ones,\u201d another reminisced. However, some thought the release was a cop-out, and that Wendy\u2019s were trying to emulate Popeye\u2019s: \u201cOh \u2013 I see they\u2019re trying to be like Popeyes now but with nuggets.\u201d \u201cSeems similar to the flavors Popeyes is using for wings,\u201d another concurred.
