Fortnite: Ninja and Tfue slam Heavy Assault Rifle after v8.10 nerfs Fortnite recently nerfed the Heavy Assault Rifle but this has been contested by two of the biggest Fortnite streamers \u2013 Ninja and Tfue. As part of Fortnite\u2019s v8.10 update, several changes came into the game. While most players focused on the new additions, like the Baller vehicle, there were also some players that focused on the nerfs. The Heavy Assault Rifle was met with a huge nerf as the damage and rarity of the item were changed. Here\u2019s what happened to the Heavy Assault Rifle, as per the recent patch notes: Adjusted rarity from Rare\/Epic\/Legendary to Common\/Uncommon\/Rare – Base damage scaling for Common\/Uncommon\/Rare 36\/38\/40 – It went from being one of the rarest weapons in the game to becoming one of the most common. Ninja tried out the gun following the release of the v8.10 update and quickly expressed his displeasure with the gun. \u201cWhat is this AK right now,\u201d he said. \u201cI aimed right at him and missed every shot.\u201d (Ninja\u2019s comments begin at the 0:10 mark of the video) \u201cThe Green AK is weird, man, I don\u2019t know, I wish they could somehow have kept the color and changed the damage,\u201d Ninja continued. Right after Ninja speaks on the Heavy Assault Rifle, Tfue\u2019s clip shows right after, at about 50 seconds in. 100 Thieves Kenith had to tell Tfue it was nerfed but after learning the news he was surprised. \u201cDamn, so the Scar\u2019s kinda meta, huh,\u201d he said.\u201dI didn\u2019t even realize it until you said something.\u201d It\u2019s hard to tell exactly what impact this will have on the meta going forward since we\u2019ve just spent one day with the nerfs so far. If the top streamers aren\u2019t enjoying it then it\u2019s certainly not a good sign.
