$15 million Fortnite Winter Royale Duos 2019: dates, format, prizes, rules All of the details have been announced for the Winter Royale 2019 competition in Fortnite Chapter 2, including the official dates, format, rules, and prizes. The $15+ million Winter Royale 2019 will be the most lucrative competition so far in Fortnite Chapter 2, and the second biggest overall following the $40 million World Cup qualifiers and finals earlier in 2019. The event will be broken down into three separate Duos tournaments, played December 20, 21, and 22, each featuring their own scoring system, rules, and $5 million prize pool. There are some important things to note: the tournaments will all be platform-specific with players separated into PC, Xbox\/PS4, and Switch\/mobile\/Touch lobbies. Furthermore, there will be no Arena rank requirement to enter, unlike the FNCS, which was available only to those who achieved Champion status in Arena. Speaking of Arena, Epic Games have enabled Arena Duos again in order to give players a competitive setting to practice in and prepare.
