To celebrate Fortnite\u2019s first birthday, Epic Games has released three birthday challenges for players to complete. Completing each challenge will unlock part of a special birthday themed set \u2013 the birthday cake challenge will unlock a birthday cake emoticon. The map below shows the ten locations that we are aware of so far. It is possible that there are more birthday cakes scattered around the map, but the 10 shown on the map will be enough to complete the challenge. As is the case with any challenge, remember to complete every game (by being eliminated or getting the victory royale) before returning to the lobby. If you don\u2019t, your challenge progress might not be applied. The full list of challenges for Fortnite\u2019s first birthday celebration can be found below. Play matches (14) – Deal damage to opponents (1,000) – Dance in front of different Birthday Cakes (10) – While completing the birthday cake challenge could prove difficult without knowing the locations, the remaining two will take nothing more than time. You will need to deal a total of 1,000 damage and play a total of 14 matches before the birthday celebrations come to an end.
