If you’re struggling to work out which are the best to use, then here’s a complete weapons tier list to help you. Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 has yet again altered the gameplay on the Battle Royale island. With four new POIs, a Marvel-themed season, and a Battle Pass stacked with heroes and villains, this is the season that a lot of players have been waiting for. Furthermore, it brings back superpowers and adds some new weapons that shift the power scale in the game in favor of those who hold them and utilize them to claim the coveted Victory Royale. With plenty of new features and meta added in this update, several players are perplexed about which guns are the greatest and which are the worst to take out enemies and Marvel Villains on the island. Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 weapons tier list Our tiers explained S: The best weapons in the game – A: Very good weapons offering an alternative to other options – B: There might be situations where these weapons can perform well – C: Best to avoid unless you find yourself drawn to them – Best weapons in Chapter 5 Season 4 These are the best weapons currently available to use in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4: Dual Micro SMGs – Striker Burst Rifle – Gatekeeper Shotgun – War Machine’s Arsenal – Either of these weapons is great but we’d definitely recommend picking up Dual Micro SMGs and a Striker Burst Rifle for your loadout if you find it hard to come across the Gatekeeper Shotgun and War Machine’s Arsenal. The Striker Burst’s lesser recoil and longer range enable it as a perfect weapon to eliminate mid-to-long-range enemies and offer you pinpoint accuracy on your targets. At the same time, keeping the Dual Micro SMGs handy offers you that fast-paced action in close-range encounters that help you ace the pray-and-spray meta this season. Absolute Doom Tier weapon in Fortnite Apart from the traditional loot pool, you have a 5% chance of getting the Armor of Doom mythic which transforms you into Doctor Doom himself. However, to get that you need to capture the Cauldron at the Isle of Doom which spawns rarely across Battle Royale matches. Once you have that, you’re granted 500 Health and 500 Shield, which basically makes you invincible throughout the rest of the match. Plus you’re also twice the size of loopers on the island and are granted four abilities which lets you unleash Absolute Doom on your enemies. Fortnite S Tier Weapons The new season brings back the pray-and-spray meta in full swing with the Dual Micro SMGs which are the fastest-firing weapon in the game. These SMGs are your perfect companion for close-range encounters and eliminating an enemy in a single magazine. You can also grab a mythic variant of this weapon from the Gwenpool NPC, however, the SMGs aren’t moddable so it’s best you use them up close and personal with an opponent. The Striker Burst Rifle makes a triumphant return and is the go-to AR this season for your loadout. With a mid-to-long-range firing capability and a tighter crosshair with low recoil, this is a gun suited for those who like to take out their opponents from a distance. Find a mythic variant by defeating Emma Frost boss in the game and you’ll have the most powerful AR in the game. Gatekeeper Shotgun returns as well and stays on the S-tier since it’s the best shotgun in the game as of yet. Players have found ideal mods to make this a lethal weapon in their loadout which helps them deal heavy damage to enemies. War Machine’s Arsenal is a new item added with the Absolute Doom season and it’s one of the best utility items in the game. It’s one part of the complete War Machine Arsenal and has two firing modes. One mode uses light bullets and fires rapid shots at mid to close-range enemies with accuracy. Another is mini rockets which you can fire at enemies in close range to deal some explosive damage and drain out their health. This weapon can be best used when you want to wipe out an area or while you’re battling bosses on the island. Fortnite A Tier Weapons The Combat Assault Rifle returns this season and is fully automatic and has first-shot accuracy. The gun is best used in medium to close range and can deal some heavy hits on the enemy, thanks to its tighter weapon spread on the crosshair and low recoil. A new shotgun appears this season which is the Sovereign Shotgun which is a hard-hitting weapon with a low bullet count. This weapon has a unique firing mechanism as it fires sideways and has a considerable amount of recoil. But thanks to weapon mods, even a couple of hits at an enemy can make this gun quite devastating. You can find the Mythic Sovereign Shotgun by defeating the Mysterio Boss on the island. The mythic variant is much quicker to reload and has a higher damage count, so you can use it to take out enemies in one shot easily. The Ranger Pistol stays in A-tier this season since more hard-hitting weapons have arrived and our trusty Pistol isn’t as overpowered as it used to be. Regardless, modding it with a Red Dot, Drum Mag, and Muzzle Brake can offer players a decent experience that produces a fair damage output on enemies. Captain America’s Shield returns from Chapter 1 and offers a similar experience as it used to. You can throw it at an enemy to deal 50 damage as well as block shots while holding it. However with nerfs introduced in the latest patch, you’ll need to be more accurate while throwing it to hit an enemy, or else you’ll easily be vulnerable to them. Shuri’s Black Panther Claws are another melee weapon that allows you to slice enemies while on the move and function similarly to Wolverine’s Claws from Chapter 2 Season 4. However, you may charge them with Kinetic Energy by sprinting and then pouncing at opponents, or you can use them to move across the map. They are best effective when you’re battling a boss or have a bunch of enemies nearby, so you can just dive in and slash them with consecutive hits and get out of the situation. War Machine’s Auto Turret is another weapon part of the War Machine package that is basically an automated laser dealing damage to nearby enemies. This weapon is extremely useful if you find yourself stranded between multiple enemies and you want to brush them off your back. Furthermore, it even deals damage to your enemies when you’re knocked, so best to have that handy in your inventory to troll your opponents. Fortnite B Tier Weapons Monarch Pistol is a slow-firing pistol introduced this season and it’s quite okay but doesn’t perform well in any encounters. This is more like a Hand Cannon but with lesser damage and slower reload time. Plus even with the weapon mods, it proves quite ineffective as the Ranger Pistol to take out enemies. Still, if you’ve got a knack for it, you can get your hands on the Mythic variant by eliminating Doombot on the island. The Striker AR makes a comeback this season and stays exactly the same with its fully automatic quick-firing capabilities. However, it underperforms as compared to the Combat AR due to high recoil and ineffective range. But with weapon mods, it becomes a lethal mid-range assault rifle you’d love to use. Coming to submachine guns, Hyper SMG is back and offers a classic SMG experience with its pray and spray stat since you can use it to deal close-range damage to players. You can also mod the weapon with a Red Dot and muzzle brake to eliminate recoil and hit your shots more accurately. Doctor Doom’s Arcane Gauntlets from Chapter 2 Season 4 return as well and have two attacks you can use − Arcane Blast and Mystical Bomb. While the latter deals decent AoE damage and blasts any enemies out of your way, the Arcane Blast attacks are ineffective as compared to other weapons of the same type. You’re better off becoming Doom’s Chosen rather than using these Gauntlets if you want to get a dub. Fortnite C Tier Weapons Returning this season is the Hammer Pump Shotgun which is an underwhelming weapon in its category as it’s slower than a standard Fortnite Pump Shotgun and has a first-person recoil animation. Players have been questioning its existence in the current season as it feels quite out of place compared to the other shotguns. As always, this ranking could end up shifting around as Epic Games rolls out Fortnite patch updates with new weapons and old classics throughout the season. But for now, this is how the state of play looks. We’ll be sure to update this ranking when more weapons get vaulted or unvaulted as the Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 progresses, so check back soon to make sure you’re using the very best weapons on offer. Best weapons to use in Fortnite Reload Fortnite brings back OG Battle Royale gameplay in a fast-paced mode called Reload, where a lobby of 40 players battle it out to claim the Victory Royale. However, players can respawn (or reboot) throughout the match, once eliminated, if their teammate is alive. The mode also brings back OG weapons from past Fortnite seasons which have created a separate loot pool for the same. Here are all the best weapons you can use for your loadout in Fortnite Reload: Pump Shotgun – Infantry Rifle – Assault Rifle (Epic or Legendary Rarity) – Midas’ Drum Gun – Rocket Launcher – Mythic Goldfish – The Pump Shotgun brings the classic power of shotguns back into the game known for box fights. You can one-shot an enemy or drain their shield bars while cranking 90s. Another weapon to help you deal damage with accuracy is the Infantry Rifle which has a tight crosshair and minimal recoil so you can eliminate enemies with precision. The classic Assault Rifle makes a comeback in Reload too which gives you that standard hitscan experience with ARs to deal effective damage to enemies from mid-range. Similarly, the Midas Drum Gun brings the pray-and-spray meta to Reload which ensures you maintain pressure on your enemy. The Rocket Launcher and Mythic Goldfish are two projectile-based weapons that assure an easy kill and take down enemy structures with ease. Find one and you’ll dominate the lobby. While there are several more weapons to be added in Reload mode in the coming weeks, we’ll keep the list updated with the best weapons you can choose as you reboot your way to Victory Royale. As you check out the best weapons to use in Fortnite Reload or Chapter 5 Season 4, also check out the weekly challenges, where to find all mythic weapons, and how to get the new Doctor Doom skin.

Best weapons in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4: Ultimate gun tier list Epic Games/DexertoFortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 brings some Marvel-themed weapons and items to the game that rework the gameplay.
