The map itself has also undergone a huge overhaul with Vaults making a return. These high-security rooms are hidden under the mysterious Seven Outposts, and they contain loads of Supply Chests with rare weapons inside. You\u2019ll need to pay a visit to one of these Vaults to complete the new Avian Ambush Quests, but instead of enlisting another player to open it, this time you\u2019ll have to be holding a chicken. Here\u2019s how to do just that. How to open a Vault while holding a chicken in Fortnite To open a Vault with a chicken in Fortnite Chapter 3, you first need to find a chicken out in the wild (we\u2019ve got a location guide that should help) then travel to any Vault location hidden around the island. Vaults can be found at Seven Outposts at the corners of the map. Once you arrive there, you\u2019ll need to search each individual building to see which one has a downstairs area for you to descend into. Found it? Good. Now, you\u2019ll need to stand in front of the Vault door with your chicken held high above your head, waiting for it to scan you both and eventually allow you to enter. Normally, you\u2019d need to have at least two players stand in front of a Vault for it to open, but the chicken works as a replacement. Squads require more players, so it might be easier to complete this quest solo.
