Epic and Marvel Announce Fortnite and Infinity War Crossover Epic Games and Marvel have announced a crossover between Fortnite: Battle Royale and Infinity War which will feature an in-game mashup of the two universes. On May 7th, the official Fortnite Twitter account announced that the \u2018Battle Begins Tomorrow\u2019 with a limited-time mashup in partnership with Marvel\u2019s \u2018Infinity War\u2019 film. With the start of \u2018Season 4,\u2019 many believed that a \u2018Superhero\u2019 theme was going to be used following various teasers prior to its launch, including characters which resembled popular figures from different films. It has been reported by Entertainment Weekly that the \u2018Infinity Gauntlet\u2019 will spawn on the map, and the player that finds it will turn into \u2018Thanos,\u2019 one of the main characters from \u2018Infinity War.\u2019 The partnership originated after Joe and Anthony Russo, Co-Directors of Infinity War, wondered how they could create some sort of mashup between the film and Fortnite: Battle Royale, leading them to link up with Donald Mustard, the worldwide creative director of Epic Games. \u201cOver the past few months, while we were editing , we\u2019d take breaks to hop on and get in a few games,\u201d Joe exclusively told EW. \u201cAnd then we started thinking, how cool would it be to have some kind of \u2013 mashup?
