Epic Games Announce New Solo Showdown Limited Time Mode in Fortnite Battle Royale An all new limited time mode has been announced in Fortnite Battle Royale, challenging players to the \u2018Solo Showdown Contest\u2019. Limited time modes have become a popular feature in Fortnite, with players getting a chance to break away from the typical run of the mill matches they are used to. In the past there has been snipers only modes, 50v50, all gold (legendary) weapons and more, and this newest limited time mode should be another hit with fans. This mode will perhaps be a first look at more competitive Fortnite on a large scale, for both players and Epic Games, the development team. It will pit players against each other, in a mode where the core gameplay is the exact same as regular modes, but it is the \u201cultimate test of survival\u201d, as you are matched up against a \u2018self-selected opponent\u2019.
