On August 22, numerous users, most of them data mining accounts, began reporting on social media that their account had been disabled. When trying to logon to Fortnite, these banned users were met with a notice that explained that their account had been disabled due to one of three reasons. Account Disabled Your account has been disabled. Accounts are disabled for one of the following reasons:\u2013 The account owner requested the account be disabled \u2013 Fraud \u2013 The account has been banned for misconduct in one of our games One account that has been subjected to a ban is that of \u2018FNBRLeaks,\u2019 a popular and trusted source of Fortnite news and updates on Twitter. It is now normal procedure for data miners to go through new game files after every major update and leak new cosmetic items, game modes, in-game weapons and items, and more, sometimes even weeks ahead of when they were schedule to be released.
