Epic Games had the community in uproar on Tuesday, August 27, when they announced major changes to Turbo Building which saw the space between object placement rise from 0.05 seconds to 0.15 seconds, an immediately unpopular move. Fans of the popular battle royale title were so upset that the developers were forced to revert the decision on August 28, and while that appeared to be the end of this issue, players are reporting that something still isn’t right with Turbo Building. Posting on Thursday, August 29, a number of players complained that while Epic had said they had reverted the nerf, they still felt that this is not the case. While some stated that they thought it was fine, a lot of players were quick to complain that they were wrong, and things were still not back to normal. “Definitely is not fine,” wrote Reddit user /u/spike12385. “It’s not as bad as it was right after they nerfed it, but certainly not as good as it was after they fixed it. My 90s were complete dogshit right after the nerf, perfect after the fix, and are now back to being pretty dogshit after this newest stability fix.” Another user named /u/Fro0z- uploaded a clip of him attempting to build quickly in the game, but struggling to do so, with his wooden structures not placing where he intended them to go. While some believed that this change was made on purpose, Epic Games quickly moved to confirm that it wasn’t an intentional decision, but rather some sort of bug that had reared its head. In a tweet sent out by the official account, Epic Games confirmed that they had “seen reports that the delay for Turbo Building feels different.” and that “no intentional changes were released since yesterday’s adjustments.” The developers concluded: “We’re investigating these reports and will provide status updates when we have more information.” We’ve seen reports that the delay for Turbo Building feels a bit different today. No intentional changes were released since yesterday’s adjustments. We’re investigating these reports and will provide status updates when we have more information. — Fortnite (@FortniteGame) August 30, 2019 When another fix for Turbo Building will release remains to be seen, but the fact that Epic are aware of the issue should mean that fans of the popular battle royale title won’t have to wait too long to see the mechanic return to its previous state.

Epic Games respond to yet more issues with Fortnite Turbo Building Epic GamesEpic Games have addressed claims that there are still major issues with Fortnite‘s Turbo Building, despite the developers adjusting the mechanic following complaints from the community.
