Epic has been quiet on announcing any details regarding upcoming tournaments, including the Champion Series and the impending World Cup. Given players learned about Fortnite World Cup 2019 specifics at the end of February last year, pros were expecting a bit more than radio silence before now. However, Epic has looked to ease concerns, saying they are working through some issues first before releasing any info. In a March 2 statement on the Fortnite Competitive Twitter account, Epic mentioned they are ironing out many of the performance issues plaguing players since Season 2\u2019s release. \u201cFor Chapter 2: Season 2, we\u2019re working to address performance issues impacting both clients and servers,\u201d it said. \u201cOur goal is to improve performance before kicking off any cash-prized competition.
