NerdIOut is best known for being a collaborative YouTube music channel but has recently started hosting Fortnite tournaments as the incredibly popular game continues to permeate just about every access of society. Much like Daniel ‘KEEMSTAR’ Keem’s Friday Fortnite tournaments, NerdOut’s Anything Goes events are played online as pairs of players go head to head to see who can pick up the most total kills. One pairing that has been performing particularly well in recent tournaments is Tfue and Cloak. The FaZe players seems to win, or come close to winning, just about anything that they enter of late and they show no sign of slowing down. After winning the ninth installment of KEEMSTAR’s Friday Fortnite tournament on July 6th with an impressive win over TSM’s Ali ‘Myth’ Kabbani and Darryle ‘Hamlinz’ Hamlin, Tfue and Cloak turned their attention to the Nerdout Anything Goes event on July 8th. Once again it was the FaZe men that reigned supreme, defeating a number of high profile names in the process and eventually beating Vkkstar123 and ErycTriceps in the Grand Final. Thank you all for everything — FaZe Cloak (@cloakzy) July 9, 2018 Arguably the hardest round of the competition for the FaZe players came in Round 2 when they went up against Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins and Jacob “Hysteria” Reiser. The match was an incredibly close one with Tfue and Cloak eventually winning with a score of 39-35. Ninja and Hysteria when fell to SypherPK and Jaomock in Losers Round 2, ending their tournament run in a disappointing 17th – 24th place.
