Tfue allegations about underage streamer reportedly confirmed L: Twitter @FaZe_H1ghSky1Reports appear to have confirmed that FaZe Clan Fortnite Battle Royale player and streamer H1ghSky1 is in fact under the age of 13. H1ghSky1 joined FaZe Clan on March 22, 2019, at which point FaZe claim he was 13 years old. According to a report by Upcomer, however, the player was only 11 at that time, and is now 12 at the time of writing. The Upcomer report states that posts by H1ghSky1\u2019s family in 2012 refer to his fifth birthday, while another post from the same year refers to him as being five years old. These posts would suggest H1ghSky1 was a month short of his 12th birthday when he signed with FaZe. The subject of H1ghSky1\u2019s true age surfaced as part of Turner \u2018Tfue\u2019 Tenney\u2019s lawsuit against the organization, which alleged that the player was only 11 at the time of joining and that FaZe Clan had pressured he and his family to lie about his age, which FaZe claimed was 13. This signing is alleged by the lawsuit to be in violation of California Labor Code section 1700.36, which states that \u201cno talent agency shall accept any application for employment made by or on behalf of any minor\u201d. Outside of the ongoing lawsuit, however, H1ghSky1\u2019s age could have additional consequences. Participating in Epic Games-sanctioned Fortnite Battle Royale events has a minimum age requirement of 13 years old, as does streaming on YouTube or becoming a Twitch partner. Should those platforms also determine H1ghSky1 to be under the age of 13, it could spell the end of any Fortnite World Cup ambitions \u2013 although he is not currently qualified for the event \u2013 as well as threaten his Twitch channel, which currently has over 400,000 followers. FaZe Clan vs Tfue The revelation comes as another blow against FaZe Clan in the battle of public perception surrounding their ongoing legal dispute. The lawsuit primarily alleges that Tfue\u2019s own contract is \u201coppressive\u201d, with claims that FaZe Clan have the right to claim up to 80% of revenue from brand deals apparently proven correct after the contract was leaked. However, the lawsuit also attacks FaZe on a number of other fronts, including the signing of H1ghSky1 as well as allegedly jeopardizing the health, safety, and welfare of its members.
