Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1 significantly changed the way the game was played, with new modes and content to explore. The battle royale mode saw some of the biggest additions, with a new map and implementations like the weapon mod system providing new experiences for players. It\u2019s been a little over a month since the season started, and while various hotfixes have come through, there have been many issues that needed addressing. Patch 28.10 provided solutions to said problems with a blanket of fixes and even more content. Patch 28.10 reportedly buffs aim assist by 20% The reports of an aim assist buff started when Twitter\/X user GabeCFN shared a look into the game files, stating aim assist saw a massive buff with the new update. This led to a lot of skepticism, and rightfully so. After tweeting out the game files, GabeCFN shared takes from other Fortnite players discussing the changes. Fortnite creator UpshallGames says hip-fire aim assist has been buffed and that aim down sight aim assist has been massively buffed as well.
