He was followed by FaZe Clan team captain Brian \u2018Cloak\u2019 Lepore in second and 100 Thieves content creator Nick \u2018NICKMERCS\u2019 Kolcheff in third, receiving $48K and $40K respectively. Before we recap the tournament, make sure to brush up on the scoring format for this competition: The player with the highest score after 10 Solo matches will be named the winner. Victory Royales and Eliminations in this competition will be scored to determine placement at the end of the event. The top 20 players at the end of the Week 2 Summer Skirmish will be awarded. Scoring is as follows: Victory Royales: +5 Points Eliminations: +1 Point 20 or More Eliminations (per game): +10 Points and $10,000 Most Eliminations Overall: Bonus $50,000 Having been invited by Epic Games due to his strong results in the Fortnite \u2018Solo Showdown\u2019 even earlier in the year, Michael took this tournament by fire, coming out of the gate with several dominant performances, including 20+ kill efforts in his first two matches. His victory was wire-to-wire, as he managed to maintain his early lead all the way to the end, finishing with a whopping 184 points. FaZe\u2019s Cloak started his climb slowly at first, but strung together several impressive performances to finish with 165 points, good enough for second. He managed to get a victory in his tenth and final match, which sent console extraordinaire NICKMERCS to third with 159 points, despite impressively winning eight of his ten matches. The competition features a variety of content creators, popular pro players, and top performers from previous in-game events.
