Here’s where to find them. It’s Turtle Time, thanks to Fortnite’s latest event starring the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The themed event, titled Cowabunga, went live on Friday, February 9, allowing players to unlock a new Shredder skin, as well as the primary weapons of the Turtles. Notably, the weapons include Leonardo’s Katanas, Michelangelo’s Nunchaku, Raphael’s Sais, and the Staff belonging to Donatello. Players can access each weapon via supply drops or vending machines. The supply drops, which typically surface near a match’s end, will rain down with a balloon shaped like one of the turtles’ faces. But those who want access to the special weapons earlier can do so by tracking down one of six vending machines strewn across the map. Where to find Fortnite’s TMNT-branded vending machines Every one of the themed vending machines carries a single Mythic weapon that spawns at random. As such, there are no guarantees that players will purchase the TMNT weapon (for 300 Gold Bars apiece) of their choice. Still, it’s a worthwhile investment, especially since these machines also allow for pizza purchases. The Fortnite map plays host to six different dispensers located in the following areas: Classy Courts, Grand Glacier, Hazy Hillside, Pleasant Piazza, Rebel’s Roost, and Ritzy Riviera. A map highlighting each of these locales features below: It’s not beyond the realm of possibility that players may also unlock TMNT’s Mythic weapons by opening chests. Because of each item’s Mythic status, however, the odds of getting this lucky seem rather low. Those interested in giving the weapons a try shouldn’t delay their efforts; Cowabunga will end later this month on Tuesday, February 27.
