Fortnite Podcast hosts 2LoudTX, MonsterDFace and guest host Alex \u2018GoldenBoy\u2019 Mendez broke down how the 7.40 patch might be the best iteration of the game in Season 7. It seems like Epic Games had taken many of the previous complaints from the community into consideration since improvements made to the X-4 Stormwing feel much better to head-to-head with, the translucent update to the Bush consumable made it a viable as well as fun item to use, and the Hand Cannon damage reduction to walls made it better to fight against. The hosts believe that a lot of features in the 7.40 patch simply made Fortnite feel more balanced. The patch undid a lot of the aches and pains that plagued the battle royale for much of the season. Fortnite has undergone numerous criticisms throughout the entirety of Season 7, and the hosts think that the 7.40 patch got a lot of things right in terms of balancing the popular battle royale.
