Here’s how to make a Compass in LEGO Fortnite. Whether that be scouting for new caves or looking for resources, getting lost in the middle of nowhere is something no one would want to experience in LEGO Fortnite. The game does let you add markers to the map, though, but thanks to the newest update, navigating the world can be a lot easier. Players can now craft a Basic Compass and Survival Compass to help them keep track of directions. If you’d like to have one in the game, here’s how to make a Compass in LEGO Fortnite. How to unlock the Basic and Survival Compass recipes Patch 28.30 introduced two types of Compass players can craft in the game: Basic and Survival. While both share the same utility of adding navigation to your HUD, the latter provides more advanced markers, allowing you to see nearby caves and villages. To unlock recipes for both, however, there are certain resources you’ll need to have in your inventory. For the Basic Compass, you’re required to have Glass in your inventory. As for Survival Compass, that would be Copper Bar. How to craft a Basic Compass in LEGO Fortnite In LEGO Fortnite, the Basic Compass adds a horizontal compass bar on your screen, which tells you which direction you’re headed. To craft it, you’ll need to gather these materials: 2 Glass – 1 Wolf Claw – For Glass, you’ll need to obtain Sand from the desert biome and combine it with Brightcore from lava caves using the Metal Smelter. Meanwhile, getting the Wolf Claw requires killing wolves from the Grassland biome. Once you have enough materials, you can craft the Basic Compass from the Crafting Bench. How to craft a Survival Compass in LEGO Fortnite Crafting the Survival Compass is a bit tricky as you’ll need to gather more advanced materials. But the tradeoff is that there’ll be icons on the map on top of showing the horizontal compass. Below are the materials needed to craft it: 5 Glass – 1 Sand Claw – 1 Copper Bar – All these materials have one thing in common: they’re all found in the desert biome. So, ensure you have equipped some heat-resistant charms before heading here. As mentioned earlier, you can craft Glass using the Metal Smelter. For the Copper Bar, you’ll need to use the Metal Smelter to combine Copper and Brightcore. On the other hand, obtaining a Sand Claw requires you to kill some desert wolves. Upon collecting all these materials, you’ll be able to craft the Survival Compass by heading to your Crafting Bench and selecting the option. Later on, the Compass can be added next to your character’s Glider slot.

How to make a Compass in LEGO Fortnite Epic GamesThe latest update added two types of Compass in LEGO Fortnite that can help players navigate the world.
