LazarBeam apparently breaks Fortnite world record for longest game ever YouTube: LazarBeam\/Epic GamesPopular YouTuber Lannan \u2018LazarBeam\u2019 Eacott once again put the limits of Fortnite to the test as he recruited a few friends \u2013 and viewers \u2013 to try and help him set the record for the longest match to date. While many Fortnite players opt to show their skills in the battle royale mode or fight off waves of enemies in Save The World, there are some like LazarBeam who want to see what the game is actually made of. In his \u201cDumbs**t Science\u201d series, the Aussie content creator has pushed the game to its limit by spawning 1000 bots and seeing if it still runs. Yet, his newest experiment was put to the test during his January 27 stream, as he tried to see if he could last in a battle royale game for more than an hour. With a little help from his friends and fans, the YouTubers stalled for time in a battle royale match \u2013 needing to outlast the storm by gathering as many health items as possible. That included picking some up while in the storm. \u201cThat\u2019s it, that\u2019s it chat, surely that was an hour,\u201d he called out as his game ended on another player being killed by the storm. \u201cThat has to be the longest game in Fortnite history.\u201d As the game finished up and the Aussie returned to the main menu, he quickly checked his stats to see if he had accomplished his goal. Thankfully, his time hadn\u2019t been wasted \u2013 managing to keep the game going for almost one hour and five minutes. \u201cIt went for an hour!\u201d Lannan called out, standing up from his chair with his arms raised in celebration. \u201cAn hour and five minutes! The longest game in Fortnite history! Take a look at it.\u201d Even though an hour-long game is pretty impressive and probably close to being a record, there\u2019s no way to say for certain if Lannan actually achieved a milestone of his own or if he\u2019ll have to retry it again. We\u2019ll just have to wait and see if anyone steps up to the plate to try and knock him off his perch.
