Aim assist on the controller has been a hot topic amongst many of the top Fortnite creators with stars such as Tfue and Ninja calling for it to be nerfed. After many months of debate, Epic revealed that they would be finally implementing some changes to aim assist in Season 2, particularly with the \u2018Legacy\u2019 aim assist setting as it is set to be removed from the game altogether on March 13. Fortnite star NICKMERCS, who has been vocal about the disadvantages that controller players face, expressed his thoughts on the latest changes and why he was not too concerned over the update. Nick initially revealed that the changes would not affect him too much as he was not using the controversial Legacy settings prior to the announcement. However, he still felt as if it would not make much of a difference even to those controller players who do use Legacy, such as top pro player UnknownArmy. \u201cController players are going to be around bro, keyboard and mouse player are going to b*tch about controller players, guys those are two certainties,\u201d he told viewers of his Twitch stream.
