Already a popular streamer before Fortnite, Nick, like many others, skyrocketed when Epic Games\u2019 battle royale title grew, and became dominant on one particular area of the original map. Tilted Towers was the epitome of a hot-drop \u2013 often you would find a large portion of the lobby floating in, and if you were a good player it meant easy kills and great loot to set you on your way, and NICKMERCS took advantage of it every time he dropped in. So, it\u2019s no surprise that Nick is now missing Tilted Towers, a place where some of his best stream and tournament moments came, and he\u2019s explained why he misses it in his February 12 stream. \u201cI was watching some of my old YouTube videos and I was like, bro, I miss Tilted,\u201d he said. \u201cI miss Tilted so bad. I hate that I can\u2019t drop there. It made the game so much more fun.\u201d Sounding somewhat sad about the loss of his old hunting ground, he tells his viewers that Tilted was \u201cso lit\u201d and that he \u201cmisses it more than anything.\u201d If you didn\u2019t know any better, you would think Nick was talking about a lost love, but he continued in a similar vein afterward, responding to people who claimed not to like the popular point of interest. \u201cIf you hated Tilted, you\u2019re just a bot,\u201d he explained. \u201cLet\u2019s get that out of the way right now. If you hated Tilted, it\u2019s because you got farmed up.\u201d He went a little further with this explanation, telling his viewers that when you\u2019re having a conversation with a large group of people about a game, there\u2019s \u201conly so many of them that are actually good.\u201d He then goes on to say that although he loves his viewers, they\u2019re \u201cprobably big booty at Fortnite.\u201d While making a joke, there is an element of truth in what Nick said. You had to be a talented player to get in to Tilted Towers and perform well, the constant action making sure every player was at risk of being eliminated from any direction at any time. You can never rule anything out with Fortnite, so we may still see Tilted Towers return yet, but for now, players like Nick will have to find their quick kills and loot elsewhere.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
