On November 3, Jarvis uploaded an emotional video to his YouTube account where he revealed he had been permanently banned from Fortnite after openly using an aimbot in some of his videos. The harsh punishment had many in the streaming community torn. While Ninja initially came out in strong defense of the FaZe Clan streamer, the Mixer star now thinks that he should be punished, but also believes the young Fortnite player should also be given a path to redemption, and during his broadcast shared ideas on how he could do that. The Mixer star is one of the most popular streamers in the world with over 2.6 million followers. Ninja opened up the discussion by admitting that he changed his opinion on the Jarvis situation. \u201cI\u2019ve had a lot of time to think about my original opinion on the whole Jarvis situation, and there definitely can\u2019t be any exceptions. But I do think his age and his status should be considered,\u201d he said. When his streaming partners argued that the FaZe clan streamer knew what he was doing, Ninja replied, \u201cRight. But hopefully it\u2019s not permanent. Maybe six months, one year.\u201d The Mixer star then shared an idea for how the young streamer could make things right. \u201cThere\u2019s got to be some kind of punishment other than being banned. Community service, I dunno. Maybe a fine too.\u201d When his friends pushed back at the idea, Ninja quickly countered and exclaimed, \u201cYou telling me if Jarvis donated 50k to a children\u2019s hospital, you think people would be upset about that?\u201d He continued to push the idea of redemption, and said that believed there can be \u201ccreative and positive ideas\u201d used as alternatives to banning people. \u201cYou are banned from Fortnite, unless you donate 50k dollars to a charity. Everyone wins!\u201d he finished. Ninja took heat for his initial defense of Jarvis Upon hearing about the FaZe Clan streamer\u2019s ban, Ninja initially argued that banning a regular hacker is different then banning a content creator, which effectively ends their ability to make money. \u201cYou ban that kid, nothing happens. You ban Jarvis, the stakes are different, it should be handled differently,\u201d he said.
