Ninja loses it with \u201cbugged\u201d Lightsabers ruining Fortnite Streaming superstar Tyler \u2018Ninja\u2019 Blevins has aired his complaints with the unpopular lightsabers in Fortnite, urging Epic Games to remove them a few days early. Part of the strength of Fortnite\u2019s popularity has come from Epic Games\u2019 ability to keep the battle royale fresh with constant updates, while also tapping into the real-world through holiday events and crossovers. The most recent crossover with popular culture has come in the form of Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker, where fans were treated to an in-game trailer event, free cosmetics, and the chance to wield both the lightsabers and blasters. However, even though players may be fans of the iconic movie franchise, the chance to swing Luke Skywalker\u2019s lightsaber hasn\u2019t gone down all that well. Players have taken issue with the damage they can cause \u2013 and the damage they block \u2013 and urged Epic to get rid of them just like they did the Infinity Sword. Now, with the Star Wars crossover coming to a close, Ninja has aired his grievances. \u201cDude, just get the f**king lightsabers out of the game man,\u201d Blevins said while streaming alongside Mason \u2018Symfunhy\u2019 Lanier. \u201cLike, we had fun but just get them out. \u201cIt\u2019s almost two weeks of lightsabers, get them out of the game, we get it. They can block infinite damage basically and they\u2019ve been bugged since they came in.\u201d He wasn\u2019t finished there though, after being stunned by a death he\u2019d suffered at the hands of someone wielding a lightsaber, Ninja added: \u201cCome on, come on, get them out. They\u2019re fun, they\u2019re great to farm, everyone had their fun and got their challenges in \u2013 get them out of here dude.\u201d Timestamp for mobile viewers of 1:20 Ninja is not the only Fortnite player to call for the specialist weapons to be removed early, however, as plenty of fans aired their concerns back on January 3.
