The stream sniping epidemic, not just in Fortnite, has been taken to new levels in recent months with stream snipers finding creative ways to ruin games. Some have even taken the time to make guides to aid other players to become stream snipers. Streamers have exhausted plenty of options in trying to stop stream snipers, but Ninja believes that if any games publisher is going to come up with a way to combat streaming sniping, it would be Epic Games. However, he isn\u2019t completely sure if there\u2019s a way to completely stop the in-game trolls. Speaking during his stream on December 15 after being stream sniped in yet another squads game, the streamer said: \u201cListen man, If there\u2019s anyone who can come up with a creative way to counteract stream sniping, it\u2019s Epic. \u201cI think that they\u2019ve done great little things to kind of, you know, get away from it but there\u2019s gotta be some sort of algorithm, I don\u2019t know, just something they can put in the game that just punishes people for doing it. I don\u2019t know, some way to detect it. \u201cHonestly, I don\u2019t think it\u2019s ever possible unless Epic and Twitch or whatever platform you\u2019re on somehow work hand in hand but I mean, I don\u2019t know. I can\u2019t even fathom a way to come up with something like that.\u201d Epic have already taken steps to aid streamers in their battle against players trying to ruin their games by adding the streamer mode option.
