The professional CoD player – who recently placed first with his team OpTic Gaming at the CWL Las Vegas Open 2019 – gave his opinion on the direction of competitive Fortnite during a Twitter exchange with esports consultant Rod ‘Slasher’ Breslau. “Epic releasing game changing unbalanced updates the same day of a $1 Million Fortnite esports tournament and forcing players to compete in it is absolutely amateur hour,” Breslau tweeted. Breslau went on to accuse Epic of making so many drastic changes on the eve of such a big tournament on purpose, and Crimsix agrees, claiming that their actions are more strategic than amateur hour. Crimsix believes it is ‘1000% on purpose’, explaining that Epic have conceded that there game will never be recognized as truly competitive, and so are putting all their eggs in one basket, and trying to make it as entertaining as possible. 1000% it’s on purpose. In my opinion, they’ve realized that their game will never be the most competitive, but it can be the most entertaining. So they’re sticking to their guns in that regard. — Ian (@OpTic_Crimsix) December 12, 2018 The two-time World Champion makes a valid point as well. Epic’s decision to add X-4 Stormwing planes and an overpowered Infinity Sword might have ruffled a few feathers, as we’ve seen with recent comments from Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins and others of late. But, if it was the developer’s intention to make Fortnite entertaining and unpredictable, they’re certainly succeeding in doing that.

OpTic Crimsix thinks Epic Games are deliberately making Fortnite less competitive in the name of entertainment Epic GamesWhile Fortnite has come under immense scrutiny from sections of the competitive community following the addition of X-4 Stormwing planes and an overpowered Infinity Blade just before the Winter Royale tournament, Ian ‘Crimsix’ Porter has a theory about […]

[1

post-76901","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-uncategorized
["GET
