Watch live video from Hitchariide on www.twitch.tvThis Fortnite \u2018Showdown Invitational\u2019 is a PS4-only Duos competition that features 16 teams made up of several big names from the online gaming community, all of whom will be vying for a larger share of the $10,000 prize pool. The tournament, which is double elimination, follows the popular \u2018total of two\u2019 format, which means that the two teams in each match will have to queue into two public Squads match together and try to get as many eliminations as possible. The team with the most eliminations after the two games will win the tournament match and advance in the bracket. First Place: $6,000 – Second Place: $3,000 – Third Place: $1,000 – The bracket for this Showdown Invitational will be live-updated after each round on the CMG website, and can be accessed by clicking the link below: OpTic Hitch, Scuf Gaming, CMG $10,000 Fortnite Showdown Invitational \u2013 Live Bracket As for the competitors, eight of the teams (16 players) were personally invited to participate in this Showdown Invitational, while the remaining eight teams had to qualify through a series of qualification tournaments hosted by CMG in the days leading up to this event. The invited and qualified teams have been placed on opposite sides of the bracket, ensuring that at least one team from each will make it to the Winners Bracket finals.
