In an email sent out to TwitchCon competitors, Epic stated that Cube Monsters, Port-A-Fortress, Port-A-Fort, and Shockwave Grenades will all be disabled. They have also made adjustments to shadow post processing to give players better visibility in game. Fortnitemares 2018 is upon us and despite bringing a host of changes to shake up the Fortnite meta, many pro players are expressing their displeasure with the update. Epic Games released the V6.20 update on October 24, and while it signaled the start of the anticipated Fortnitemares event, the widespread changes have upset a large number of pro players. The changes alone may not have been enough to provoke much outrage, but with the $1.86 million TwitchCon Fall Skirmish finale and $750K Stream-vitational tournament both coming up in just a few days, players are frustrated at having such large-scale changes being put in place. Two of Team Liquid’s most prominent players expressed their frustrations this week, with Ryan ‘Chap’ Chaplo saying he wouldn’t stream until after TwitchCon since he needs “to relearn the game,” while Jake ‘Poach’ Brumleve went on an extended rant on his stream. “A whole new game for $1.5 million,” POACH says to his viewers. “Epic is taking RNG to the whole next level. They’re like ‘Alright boys, you guys have been playing customs and all these Skirmishes for weeks. For the last tournament of the Fall Skirmish, fuck it. Completely different game. Good luck.’” Much of the outrage from the community is centered around the addition of the Cube Monsters, as the players feel it has completely changed how they must play the game. I know it’s a “limited time event” so it’s only going to be here for this week or 2, but still it shouldn’t be something we’re forced to play untill it’s gone. But I’d play it for fun and challenges if it had it’s own playlist :joyful: — Dixon :sunflower: (@DareDixon) October 24, 2018 Counter Logic Gaming’s Sam ‘WishYaLuckk’ Salcedo suggested that Epic Games take a page out of Treyarch’s book and keep zombies confined to specific locations similar to how the undead enemies are handled in Blackout, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4’s battle royale mode. Robert ‘WizKay’ Simone gave his own two cents on the issue, saying that the custom test games he’s seen have been “a complete and utter shit show.” Read More: How to watch TwitchCon’s Fortnite Fall Skirmish $2.6 million event – schedule, format, rules, and more – Epic Games has so far been silent on the issue, which could mean there are no plans to reverse the changes and thus the pros will need to practice up to be ready for the brand-new meta at TwitchCon this weekend. This isn’t the only thing that the pros have been upset about, either, as many also expressed their frustration over being forced to use certain peripherals and game settings at the event.

Pro Fortnite players aren’t happy about the latest update in Fortnite ahead of $2.6 million event at TwitchCon [UPDATED] UPDATE (October 25, 2018, 6pm ET) In response to feedback from the competitive Fortnite community, Epic Games has announced that many features that players were unhappy over from the V6.20 update have been disabled for TwitchCon’s […]

[1

post-76964","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-uncategorized
["GET
