He was the first player to reach the 8 points necessary to win, with Team Liquid pro player \u2018Poach\u2019 coming in second, followed by Luminosity Gaming pro \u2018Kreo\u2019 in third. Before reading the rest of the recap, make sure to brush up on the scoring format for this week\u2019s competition: Hold the Throne The first player to reach 8 or more points by the end of the competition wins. Victory Royales and Eliminations in this competition will be scored to determine placement at the end of the event. The player with the most eliminations in a single match will \u201cHold the throne\u201d and hold a bonus point until dethroned. Victory Royale: +2 Points &#8211; 2nd and 3rd Place: +1 Point &#8211; 4 or more Eliminations: +1 Point &#8211; Hold the Throne (Most Eliminations in a Single Match): +1 Point, $50,000 &#8211; NotVivid was invited to play in this week\u2019s competition on the virtue of his top performances in one of the previous Solo Showdown in-game events this year. He was able to jump out to a strong start with a Victory Royale in Game 2, along with five eliminations that earned him an extra point. He followed that up with another Victory Royale in Game 4, putting him at seven points and on the brink of winning the event. However, Liquid\u2019s Poach put on a major comeback, winning the fifth game and getting to five points, which put him in a position to try to sneak the championship from under NotVivid\u2019s nose. However, in the sixth and final match of the tournament, NotVivid managed to get 4+ eliminations and finish in the top 3, getting the two points that put him to nine overall and first place. Poach, who ended up also winning Game 6, finished with seven points, and LG\u2019s Kreo came in third with four points. The \u2018On the Throne\u2019 $50,000 bonus went to streamer \u2018Reverse2K,\u2019 who got the highest number of elimination in a single match with nine. He also managed to finish 5th, which meant that he took home a total of $86,000 from this week\u2019s competition. Summer Skirmish Week 4 Tournament Live Standings (Day One)The Fortnite Summer Skirmish is an 8-week series of competitions where Epic Games will be awarding a total of $8 million in prize money. The competition features a variety of content creators, popular pro players, and top performers from previous in-game events.
