Streamers and pros slam Fortnite after \u201cdisappointing\u201d v8.30 patch Epic Games finally released the long-awaited v8.3 patch on April 10, but many of top Fortnite streamers and professionals are far from pleased after controversial changes were not reverted. The last major Fortnite update, v8.2, introduced a host of changes, including the removal of the siphon mechanic which was generally loved across the Fortnite community. Ever since, Epic Games have been spammed with calls to revert the update from casual players to the top streamers such as Tyler \u2018Ninja\u2018 Blevins, who believes that the developers have no idea what they are doing. Why are Fortnite streamers unhappy? Despite adding in reboot vans, siphon mechanics were not reintroduced in the latest update which means players are not granted health and materials on elimination as well as not benefitting from an increased harvesting rate so games can be seen as tedious \u2013 Ninja and Dr Lupo were quick to mock the game\u2019s current state as a \u2018farming simulator\u2019. Team SoloMid streamer Daequan \u2018Daequan\u2019 Loco and Brett \u2018Dakotaz\u2019 Hoffman are two of the biggest names to have actively called for the changes to be reverted and have been left disappointed by the latest patch. With the Fortnite World Cup qualifiers fast approaching, the competitive community were shocked to see Epic announce a ban on a stretched resolution which was implemented in the v8.3 patch, without adding a field of view slider that players have been desperate for, as well as fixes to major bugs. However, there is little in the patch notes to suggest that any significant issues have been resolved and it was revealed that the Baller would not be altered until a future update \u2013 meaning it will still be viable during the first week of qualifying. Team Liquid\u2019s Ryan \u2018Chap\u2019 Chaplo and Noah \u2018Vivid\u2019 Wright both slammed the update while FaZe Clan member Nicolas \u2018Thiefs\u2019 Smorto and Ghost Gaming\u2019s Aydan \u2018Aydan\u2019 Conrad were shocked that Epic Games have refused to listen to the community again.
