Friday, June 21 is the final day of Fortnite World Cup qualifiers, with duos attempting to secure one of the remaining spots in the $30 million tournament. Tfue has already qualified for the tournament and will compete in the solos tournament, and with the pair yet to make it together, Tfue sarcastically blamed his friend and partner for their unsuccessful qualifying campaign. While playing with Tom ‘72hrs’ Mulligan, the pair found themselves without their duos, with the Team Liquid player saying that Noah ‘Vivid’ Wright had gone out for dinner, despite him “begging” Vivid to stay in and scrim. Like a scorned teenager upset that their crush isn’t texting them back, Tfue joked that he didn’t know where Cloak was because he wasnt replying to his calls or messages: “I don’t even know! Where even is Dennis dude? He didn’t reply to any of my calls. This guy wants to qualify for the World Cup and he doesn’t even play Fortnite, shows what kind of friend he is, dude. He hasn’t replied to my texts all day” Tfue later found out that Cloak had accidentally leaked his number on stream, and had changed his number, but that didn’t appear to be a good enough reason to skip practice, at least not according to the Californian. “How did you leak your fucking name on stream?” asked a bemused Tfue. “Who’s got the clip? He’s going to try to say that’s the reason he didn’t reply, but I’m pretty sure I fucking DMed him on Twitter, so where’s his excuse now?” “Cloak doesn’t even play Fortnite anymore, I just need Cloak to actually practice. I practice all day every day, that’s why I qualified!” Of course, Tfue and Cloak are actually good friends, with the pair even spending some time living together in New York City, so his comments were very tongue-in-cheek as they head into the Week 10 Finals. Only four teams from North America will qualify from the last week of events, so both Tfue and Cloak will have to be on top form if they hope to compete in the World Cup Finals in July.

Tfue takes cheeky shot at Cloak over Fortnite World Cup qualifying failures FaZe ClanTurner ‘Tfue‘ Tenney and Dennis ‘Cloak’ Lapore are still attempting to qualify for the Fortnite World Cup, and Tfue has hilariously placed the blame on his duo partner after Cloak failed to answer his calls and texts.
