Myth tweeted on Monday, December 31 that he was considering starting a union for pro players, stating that he had concerns about the state of Fortnite esports and wanted to have his say on the things that were happening. Many fans were confused by Myth\u2019s statement, and wondered if this union would actively petition Fortnite to make changes to the game, and try to block new additions to the popular battle royale title. With that in mind, the TSM star has clarified his position on what he wants to do, stating on his January 2 stream that he feels people got the wrong idea about what he is aiming for. \u201cI think people got the wrong impression as to what it\u2019s for,\u201d Myth told his stream. \u201cI don\u2019t want to influence Epic\u2019s decisions when it comes to how they want to run or develop their game. \u201cAt the end of the day, I know we don\u2019t have any control over that. I think their lack of communication is daunting, and that\u2019s really all I want to address with this union.\u201d \u201cWhat is the reasoning behind them dropping a patch days before patch day, or right before tournaments? Myth\u2019s final comments were referencing the new Boom Box item, which was added to the game just hours before the $100,000 WSOE Fortnite event on December 30, a move which angered many pro players.
