Following the v6.30 update, there has been some confusion among the Fortnite community as to the changes detailed on the controversial glider redeploy system. On November 13, Epic Games announced that due to community feedback, glider redeploy would be disabled entirely from all default modes (Solos, Duos, Squads). However, it would remain in \u2018larger team modes\u2019 (e.g. Soaring 50s, Disco Domination etc.), as well as Playground, to \u201callow ongoing experimentation with this feature\u201d. So, when the patch notes for v6.30 released and stated: \u201cGlider Redeploy will now only activate the Glider. Skydiving will no longer be available when using Glider Redeploy\u201d \u2013 players were somewhat confused. This seemed to indicate that glider redpeploy hadn\u2019t been disabled at all, but rather simply adjusted to no longer allow for Skydiving.
