The first Season 7 teaser image, which was released on December 3, appeared to drop a massive hint that the theories were correct as it showed an icy silhouette and came with the caption: \u201cA bitter ice spreads\u2026 3 days to Season 7.\u201d Various other leaks and in-game hints also suggested that things were beginning to get a bit colder for the inhabitants of the game, but a discovery on December 4 all but confirmed that the rumors were correct! Approximately half an hour before the expected release of the second teaser image for Season 7, the fnbr.new Twitter account shared a video of snow falling the map, saying: \u201cIt\u2019s snowing at spawn island!\u201d We\u2019re currently unsure whether the snow is falling on the main Battle Royale map or not \u2013 we\u2019ll keep you updated. Some players anticipate a new snowy section of the map, with fans making concepts showing various parts covered in white, while others think that the entire map may be covered with a layer of snow.
