The gameplay trailer begins with FBI Agent Saga fighting off monstrous foes in Cauldron Lake, using her flashlight and pistol in a way that would undoubtedly make the titular hero proud. Notably, the trailer\u2019s final few moments rehash footage that Remedy shared during Alan Wake 2\u2019s PlayStation Showcase appearance. The little that Remedy did show off looks nothing short of incredible. Lighting, wind effects, and the graphical details are all technically impressive. And it seems the shooting and dodging mechanics have greatly improved, too, even when compared to Alan Wake\u2019s 2021 remaster. Fortunately, fans and newcomers alike won\u2019t have to wait too much longer to determine how much better the action feels now.
