Asmongold doubts anything will change after Bobby Kotick leaves Activision During a recent livestream, Asmongold was scrolling through his subreddit when he came across a tweet from a senior designer for World of Warcraft, who did not have kind words for Kotick. Calling the former CEO a \u201cpathetic ghoul,\u201d the designer went on to say: \u201cWaste the millions you didn\u2019t earn from people whose talent and light you will never understand.\u201d Asmongold, though finding this tweet humorous, did have a response to it about what is going to happen with Activision \u2013 and he isn\u2019t very optimistic. \u201cPoint is, yeah, a lot of people are very happy that Bobby Kotick is gone,\u201d he explained, \u201cIn my opinion, by the way, I don\u2019t think that Bobby Kotick leaving is going to have any impact on us, as players. I just don\u2019t really think so.\u201d He claimed that Kotick is a \u201cgreat villain,\u201d as in a perfect person for people to put the blame on for the state of Activision Blizzard games. Asmongold, though, argued that Kotick very likely had no idea or clue about how the games were being made. He asserts that the developers are still going to make their games in the same way. He explained, \u201cThe reason why people stopped playing games wasn\u2019t because of the sexual harassment lawsuit. It\u2019s because the game sucked.\u201d Some of Asmongold\u2019s viewers offered the rebuttal that Kotick was the one who created the culture that not only allowed the harassment, but that also created these design processes and ideas. Asmongold acknowledged this and agreed, while also saying that he hopes he is wrong about his prediction.
