According to Sony, the new DualSense controller will come with a variety of features including Haptic Feedback, Adaptive Triggers on L2 &#038; R2 for tension, a \u201cCreate\u201d button to replace the old \u201cShare\u201d button and a light bar added on top of the Touch Bar. It also has a built-in microphone, which will allow for in-game chat without the need for a headset, but players will still be able to use peripheries if they want to. We look forward to sharing more information about PS5, including the console design, in the coming months.\u201d Playstation said they went through \u201cseveral concepts and hundreds of mockups over the last few years\u201d before finally deciding on the current design. \u201cDualSense has been tested by a wide range of gamers with a variety of hand sizes, in order for us to achieve the comfort level we wanted, with great ergonomics,\u201d Hideaki Nishino, Sony Senior VP of Platform Planning &#038; Management explained. \u201cOur goal with DualSense is to give gamers the feeling of being transported into the game world as soon as they open the box.\u201d It\u2019s probably too early to be making these kinds of guesses, but there\u2019s already been some speculation floating around that the Playstation 5 will have a similar white and black color scheme to match the controller.
