In a Reddit post, one fan who noticed the addition shared a screenshot that showed \u201cHollow Knight: Silksong for Beta Testing\u201d had been added to Steam\u2019s backend. The update, which is real, got fans excited. Unfortunately, the excitement didn\u2019t last long. People soon realized that Silksong wasn\u2019t alone in getting this \u201cBeta Testing\u201d update, with over 55,000 other apps getting the same treatment on August 27, 2024.
