VTuber and now, The Game Awards winner, Ironmouse is on the up. Just a day before her win at the TGAs Dexerto got a chance to catch up with the popular VTuber herself. As the year was winding down, we wanted to know the ultimate question: What\u2019s Ironmouse\u2019s game of the year? The answer, if you keep up with her streams, isn\u2019t too surprising. However, in a year where multiple massive releases have come and gone, Ironmouse\u2019s answer might still surprise you. Ironmouse\u2019s GOTY is a fresh indie darling \u201cThis is the best and worst question you can ask me at this time right now.\u201d She comments, before continuing. \u201cI don\u2019t know if you\u2019ve noticed, but I\u2019ve been obsessed with a particular game that I\u2019ve been playing nonstop\u2026 Like, the other day, I caught myself playing it for 15 hours on stream.\u201d She laughs, as she continues to explain: \u201cI feel like it came out so late that like, it\u2019s not really on everybody\u2019s radar, but it\u2019s a game called Lethal Company.\u201d Lethal Company takes Ironmouse\u2019s Game of the Year \u201cI\u2019m absolutely obsessed with it. I have over 140-something hours in the game.\u201d She stops herself, clearly clicking over to Steam to see just how many hours she has poured into the title: \u201cI think it\u2019s like more than 150 hours now.\u201d Lethal Company is the new streaming gem. It\u2019s a combination of vagueness, survival horror, and cooperative online play which makes for some incredibly entertaining videos. \u201cIt\u2019s such a good game and it\u2019s by this one developer and, it\u2019s such a great game.\u201d Ironmouse swoons over the title. Lethal Company has held its position as one of Steam\u2019s best-selling games for about a month. Despite all of the work presumed work that\u2019s yet to come for her in the day, all Ironmouse can think about is playing Lethal Company: \u201cI\u2019m obsessed and, God, I can\u2019t stop, I\u2019m thinking about it right now.\u201d What does Ironmouse play off-stream? Ironmouse also shared her off-stream gaming habits with us, as not everything can be seen in front of the camera while she\u2019s streaming: \u201cI love playing visual novels a lot, solo stuff for me.\u201d She continues: \u201c\u2026The best thing that I love playing when I\u2019m done with streaming, are games with my friends, especially friends that don\u2019t stream.\u201d But, it\u2019s not all multiplayer romps or obscure VNs. \u201cIt\u2019s crazy, I love survival games so much, even though I\u2019m a huge scaredy cat and stuff, but it\u2019s my favorite survival horror, I love it.\u201d \u201cYeah, being scared is very thrilling, especially since you know that you\u2019re safe in your house.\u201d \u201cIt\u2019s a controlled fear and it\u2019s an adrenaline rush, it\u2019s fun.\u201d The VTuber concludes.
