Developed by Firaxis Games in collaboration with the comic book franchise, Marvel\u2019s Midnight Suns will be a tactical RPG that is set in the darker side of the Marvel universe. One that puts an emphasis on tactical combat and on-the-fly decision-making. With that being said, let\u2019s dive in and check out everything that\u2019s been revealed about the upcoming RPG, which includes some of our favorite superheroes from Marvel comics. Marvel\u2019s Midnight Suns has been confirmed to release on December 2, 2022. What platforms will Marvel\u2019s Midnight Suns be on? Marvel\u2019s Midnight Suns will be released on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Swift. Marvel\u2019s Midnight Suns editions Here are the four different editions of the game that you can pre-order, along with the in-game benefits they will grant you are: Midnight Suns: Gameplay Marvel\u2019s Midnight Suns is a tactical strategy RPG that features turn-based combat. At the beginning of every encounter, players will be issued a deck of cards tailored to the team of heroes they\u2019ve brought on each mission. They\u2019ll need to creatively use these cards to deal damage, use skills, and unleash hero move ultimate attacks in order to win battles. An earlier gameplay trailer shows off what gamers can expect from the gameplay elements of Midnight Suns. The trailer can be viewed here: The game\u2019s protagonist, known as The Hunter, is a fully customizable character who will be teaming up with an array of superheroes from the comics universe during the course of the game. The core gameplay loop will be split between taking on missions and spending time at the in-game hub, The Abbey, where players will be able to explore, upgrade gear and get to know their superhero partners. As well as this, it has been reported that the will include over 65,000 voice lines. \u201cI think we ended up with something like 65,000 lines of voiced dialogue, over two hours of cinematics, and, gosh, more branching choices than you could imagine,\u201d said lead engineer Will Miller during a dev update for the game.
