Players take control of one of the four Suicide Squad members and team up in co-op with friends to\u2026 well\u2026 Kill the Justice League. If you\u2019re going to take on the likes of Superman, you\u2019re going to need a strong build for any of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League\u2019s four playable characters. Whether you prefer King Shark, Captain Boomerang, Deadshot, or Harley Quinn, there are plenty of options for how to play. While diversity of playstyle is baked into the game, early metas have begun to spring up around a particular exploit. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League\u2019s Community Manager Darroch Brown took to X to announce an incoming nerf for a particular elemental damaged type. \u201cWe are aware of an issue with damage dealt from the Burning affliction, where it is not correctly affected by scaling at high Mastery levels \u2013 making it too powerful relative to other strategies,\u201d Brown revealed. \u201cWe are working to verify a fix for this and we\u2019re hoping to release it soon.\u201d It might seem like a bit of an odd play for a co-op shooter with no PVP to limit player power. In saying that, Brown did make it clear that the power on offer is the result of a system not working as intended and there\u2019s a decent justification for the health of the game. \u201cThis should open up the diversity of builds at the high Mastery levels,\u201d Brown explained. \u201cThere\u2019s still a few builds we\u2019ve found at the studio we\u2019re yet to see discovered.\u201d Hopefully with the incoming change, more intrepid Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will explore some other options. Player reception to the change looks to be largely positive which is a big plus. Brown also clarified that the incoming Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League patch would address some other critical issues that players have put to the devs. These include a bug that locks players to a certain Mastery Level as well as server and performance issues.
